Hiking Trails In the heart of the Silesian Beskids, you'll find impressive peaks such as Skrzyczne (1257 m above sea level) and Barania Góra (1220 m above sea level). These majestic mountains offer a challenge for hiking enthusiasts, along with breathtaking views from their summits. You can start your hike directly from our house, though it's best to reserve an entire day for the trek. Alternatively, you can drive to Szczyrk, Salmopolska Pass (Biały Krzyż), or other nearby locations to shorten the route. Ustroń, Wisła, and Szczyrk offer numerous hiking trails that will captivate any mountain lover.

Cycling Routes: Wisła

  • Cieńków MTB: The mountain range between Wisła Malinka and Wisła Czarne offers a picturesque route of about 8 km, perfect for cyclists. The trails are technically easy but have challenging climbs, making Cieńków a great spot for a short mountain bike ride or part of a longer loop, connecting with Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie, Barania Góra, or Malinowska Skała.

  • Malinowska Skała MTB: The border area between Wisła and Szczyrk boasts one of the most beautiful views in the Silesian Beskids. The route to Malinowska Skała from Salmopolska Pass is relatively easy. The trail between Barania Góra and Skrzyczne, passing through Malinowska Skała, is demanding but offers unforgettable experiences.

  • Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie MTB: The tripoint connecting Ustroń, Brenna, and Wisła at an elevation of 810 m above sea level is a must-visit for cyclists. The trails are technically easy but have steep climbs that can be exhausting. Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie is also a great option for a winter mountain bike trip.

Cycling Routes: Szczyrk

  • Around Skalite – Blue Trail: An 8 km route passing through the Zapalenica neighborhood, offering beautiful views of the Beskid Mały and a part of the Beskid Żywiecki. Travel time: approx. 45 min.

  • Górka-Bieniatka – Blue Trail: A 9.2 km route through the Bieniatka neighborhood with views of the Skrzyczne range and the Beskid Żywiecki. Travel time: approx. 50 min.

  • Beskid – Yellow Trail: A 9.85 km route leading to the Beskidka summit, offering panoramic views of Skrzyczne and Upper Szczyrk. Travel time: approx. 1h.

  • Skrzyczne (Climb) – Red Trail: A 10.7 km technically challenging route with views of the Tatra Mountains in good weather. Travel time: approx. 1h 15 min.

  • Magura – Red Trail: A 14 km route leading to Magura and further to the Klimczok mountain hut. Travel time: approx. 1h 30 min.

  • Cross Bike Track: A short 1.85 km route, perfect for cross enthusiasts.

  • Cycling and Walking Path along the Żylica River: A 3.57 km route along the Żylica River, ideal for family bike rides and walks.

Mountain Towns If you want to explore nearby towns surrounded by mountain peaks, Ustroń, Wisła, and Szczyrk are perfect choices. It's also worth visiting beautiful towns like Bielsko-Biała and Żywiec. The proximity to the borders with the Czech Republic and Slovakia opens up additional possibilities for further trips. Having your own car is recommended to fully enjoy the attractions of the area.

In Wisła Malinka, you'll find one of the most famous ski jumps in Poland – the Adam Małysz Ski Jump. This is the place where the legendary ski jumper Adam Małysz achieved his greatest successes. The ski jump is open to visitors all year round, and from its observation tower, you can enjoy incredible panoramic views of the area. It's a must-see for any fan of winter sports!

Sources of the Vistula River and Dams
